Employee Volunteerism

Assurant Health's commitment to employee volunteers is an extension of our strong tradition of service to our community. We offer employees eight hours of paid time off each year to volunteer for charitable causes.

In 2012, 385 Assurant Health employees and their family/friends donated over 1,600 hours to volunteer at 43 local agencies including the Salvation Army, The Gathering, Wehr Nature Center, Next Door Foundation, N.E.A.R. Food Pantry, Hunger Task Force and the MACC Fund (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer).
