Assurant Health has a multi-faceted community involvement program that includes:

• Making grants to community agencies through the Assurant Health Foundation, the charitable arm of Assurant Health, including a matching grant program for employee donations and support to employees serving as board members in non-profit agencies
• Workplace giving campaigns to support United Way and the United Performing Arts Fund
• A variety of on-site blood drives, food and supply drives and community sponsorship support
• Employee teams for a number of charity fundraising runs and walks
• A program in which the company provides up to a full day of paid time off to volunteer, per employee, per year, to promote volunteerism
