These plans do not meet Minimum Essential Coverage requirements and you may need to pay a tax penalty depending upon your income level and the cost of plans available.
For those who are not exempt from the tax penalty, it will be the greater of $95 per individual ($285 for a family), or one percent of your income, for 2014. See if a tax penalty applies to your situation.
