What makes a Health Access plan different?
Unlike traditional health insurance plans, Health Access plans pay you a set cash amount when you receive a particular service, regardless of what your provider charges you. Here's an example of how it works if you choose to have us pay your provider.
Know the limits
All Health Access plans are limited-benefit, fixed-indemnity plans. This means they are not major medical insurance plans. Fixed indemnity benefits are provided for hospital confinement and specified medical and surgical events. These benefits are paid in specific amounts for covered events without regard to the costs of services rendered. This plan does not provide expense reimbursement for charges based on the health care provider's bill.
